Terms of Service
Effective October 3, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Focus IT Consulting LLC, doing business as Focus IT Development ("we," "us"), for your use of the OpusRepo app and the opusrepo.app website. By installing or using OpusRepo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
1. License to use OpusRepo
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use OpusRepo on devices you own or control, for personal or business use, under these terms.
You may not:
- sell, rent, lease, or sublicense OpusRepo;
- distribute modified versions of OpusRepo, or present it as your own product;
- remove or change copyright, trademark, or other notices in the app;
- use OpusRepo in a way that breaks any law.
2. Your content
Everything you store in OpusRepo belongs to you. We do not claim any rights to it, and we cannot see it.
OpusRepo saves your work automatically, but you are responsible for keeping backups of anything important and for keeping your recovery kit safe. Autosave and syncing services can fail, and files can be deleted or damaged by other software, hardware problems, or user error.
Your master password cannot be reset. The vault is encrypted so that only your master password or your recovery kit can open it. If you lose both, nobody, including us, can recover your data.
OpusRepo is a beta and has not yet been independently security reviewed. No password manager can protect you from malware that is already running on your computer, or from weak or reused master passwords. Use it with that in mind, and keep important accounts protected by other means as well.
3. Ownership
OpusRepo, including its code, design, name, and logos, is owned by Focus IT Consulting LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms do not give you any ownership of OpusRepo or rights to use our name or logos. Third-party components included in OpusRepo are provided under their own licenses.
4. App stores
If you get OpusRepo through the Microsoft Store, the store's own terms also apply to your download and use. If those terms conflict with these, the store's terms control for that store. Microsoft is not responsible for OpusRepo or for supporting it.
5. Updates
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. We are not required to provide updates, support, or any particular feature, and we may stop offering OpusRepo at any time.
6. No warranty
OpusRepo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that OpusRepo will be error free, uninterrupted, or that it will never lose or damage data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Focus IT Consulting LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use OpusRepo, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to OpusRepo will not be more than the amount you paid for it, or $10 if you paid nothing.
Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
8. Ending these terms
You can stop using OpusRepo at any time by uninstalling it. If you break these terms, your license ends automatically. Sections 2, 3, 6, 7, and 9 continue to apply after these terms end.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version will always be on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use OpusRepo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
